Stylish alternative to marble or slate
Drummonds has added to its handmade sanitaryware collection with the introduction of the Magma vanity basin surround. Made from natural volcanic lava from Volvic in France, this new hand glazed vanity basin surround offers a stylish and original alternative to marble or slate.
Magma surround with Morie vanity basin and Naver basin standThe Magma surround is pictured left with the Morie vanity basin, Naver basin stand, waste, plug, chain and anchor, and extended spout basin taps from Drummonds Classic Range. All metal is shown with a polished nickel finish.
The lava stone provides a scratch-resistant surface that is impermeable to water, grease and cleaning products.
Close up of crazed surface of Magma basin standThe stone is cut to customer specifications and finished by hand with an enamel glaze to give a random crazed appearance to the surface. Drummonds can supply this unusual material for tiles, flooring, built-in bath surrounds and its complete range of under mounted basins.
Several colours are also available.
