Brass, nickel and chrome finishes
Drummonds handmade brassware comes as standard in unlacquered polished brass.
Additional special finishes available to order are: Chrome (C), Nickel (N) or Patinated (P).
Polished brass finish 'B'
In keeping with tradition, Drummonds' polished brass is not lacquered allowing items to age gracefully. To maintain the polished finish you will need to clean regularly with a proprietary brass cleaner such as Brasso.
Nickel finish 'N'
Drummonds' polished nickel is a silver coloured finish with a warmer look than the more widely available chrome finish. Polished nickel maintains its look over time with only occasional cleaning required.

Chrome finish 'C'
Chrome is a very popular silver finish which looks beautiful in both contemporary and traditional properties. As with nickel, chrome maintains its finish over time with only occasional cleaning required.
Prices
For chrome and nickel finishes, we charge an additional £40 per pair of door knobs, £20 per cupboard knob and £20 per escutcheon.
It is not available on every item so please check this before you order.
Patinated finish
