Beauty in black and white

Drummonds offers one of the largest collections of fine hand made bathroom suites, flooring, door furniture and architectural antiques in the country. Here is a round up of Drummonds' latest products from its four main disciplines exploring how dark and light colours can complement each other to stunning effect.

The bath featured is a Lomond shown with a Drummonds wall mounted bath mixer. This bath exhibits luxury with its hand painted exterior that creates a real impact.

The bath is vitreous enamelled for lustre and long life. It costs £1995 and special finishes are available at an extra cost. The Birmingham sconce lights highlight the sleek finish and are part of Drummonds lighting range. They are available for £285.

Chidswell door knob and escutcheon setChidswell door knob and escutcheon setDoor furniture: Drummonds makes a vast range of handmade solid brassware including door knobs, fingerplates, hinges, letterboxes and bells. This intriguing piece is a Chidswell door knob part of a range based on one knob salvaged from the library of Chidswell House, near Halifax.

The knob is custom made by Drummonds and the intricate detail shows the craftsmanship involved. It retails as a set with matching escutcheons at £990.

Light and dark stone floorLight and dark limestone floorFlooring: Modern, yet traditional, the impact of a light and dark stone floor creates a stunning finish to any room. The natural slate cabouchons are highlighted by cream limestone and this is just one of Drummonds main specifications. Antique oak flooring, 20th Century stone and tiled floors are also available. The trained team will see the customer through from buying to preparing to fitting.

Warwick Castle fireplaceWarwick Castle fireplaceArchitectural antiques: This fire surround is an eye catching antique and perfect as those winter nights draw closer. The fireplace tends to become the focal point of the room as the temperature drops and this 6ft high fireplace from Warwick Castle will certainly draw the family in. It dates back to the 17th century and is made from white marble that features carvings of mythical creatures and botanical shapes.

This fire surround is on sale for £31,500.
