Drummonds offers fine hand-finished cast iron conservatories — an exclusive classic conservatory of exquisite style and quality adaptable as an orangery, greenhouse, poolhouse, pavilion or as a traditional conservatory.
Conservatory features
Our standard classic conservatory includes the following features:
- Double glazing with roof glass laminated for safety (single glazing available for use as a greenhouse).
- Opening roof lantern windows and side windows, providing all-round ventilation.
- Secure solid brass latches.
- Side windows that open inwards behind filigree security grills.
- Concealed guttering, allowing rainwater to drain through corner-posts.
- Six coats of paint (primer, undercoat and finishing) in your choice of colour.
- Base wall materials chosen to match the surroundings
Modular custom conservatories
Our conservatories are not standard items. Size, and the number of sides and doors can be determined by you, enabling you to have the custom conservatory, orangery, pavilion, pool house, greenhouse of your choice.
Other bespoke features include:
- roof — covered, partially covered or fully uncovered
- roof lanterns — sealed or openable
- brass latches - finished in either nickel or chrome
- finials - more or less ornate, or hidden altogether
